common diseases

assalamualaikum...

Some of my friend who study abroad ask me about the common diseases in Malaysia. As i promise, i would like to share with them according to the system. And for today, i will list the common diseases that we discuss most in our PBL. Here are the list for the cardiovascular system and respiratory :

Cardiovascular system:

1. Hypertension
2. Arrhythmia
3. Myocardial infarction
4. Rheumatic fever

Respiratory system:

1. Bronchopneumonia
2. Pulmonary tuberculosis
3. Asthma
4. Small cell carcinoma

hopefully, we can prepare ourselves better to be a good doctor.. =)

Next time i will list out for the diseases for the other system...

research nye hal....

Bulan Disember bru msuk 2 ari..*apenye introduction dah*. Untuk 2nd year ni, kitorg sume kene wat research masing2 before 1st professional exam. Tajuk research aku, 'Microorganisms on trolley handle in supermarket'. Sounds interesting right??!! yeke??Boleh lah tahan, menarik tapi memenatkan skit. Group kitorg decide tuk amik sample dpd 10 supermarket kat Kuching ni, and each place, 5 trolley handle...total sume 50 trolley.

Sape yg belajar pasal microbe mesti prnah dgr pasal medium agar tuk growth of bacteria. Each sample kitorg gune 1 nutrient agar, 1 choclate agar and Mc Conkey. Meh sini aku summarise kn.

1. 10 places- 5x10=50 trolley
2. each trolley 3 agar with different types (choc,NA,McConkey). 50x3=150 agar.
3. each agar yg ade growth kene streak lgi tuk dptkn single colony...

Kitorg kene prepare sendri agar...bygkn brape ratus agar plate dh yg kitorg gune.....emm...

Kitorg dah start conduct research ni 2 bulan lepas...Alhamdulillah, baru tad habis streak tuk sample kat tempat terakhir....fuh....tapi pasni ade smbung wat confirmation test plak.....emmm...hopefully kitorg dpt habiskn before EOB 8 ni...so,time block renal,dah bley start wat full report....sori ye kalo sape2 yg bace entry ni x phm dgn ape yg aku bebel ni...saje je nak citer pasal research aku ni....
